CURRICULUM:

The ACE Software has the most comprehensive and customizable curriculum in the industry. We have over 2,100 lesson plans developed by BCBAs and special educators at The New England Center for Children® (NECC®). The teaching strategies built into the ACE Software are based on research in Applied Behavior Analysis and incorporate systematic instruction.

Our lessons teach a wide array of skills, from the most basic “learning to learn” to complex skills needed for successful independent living. Lessons target the areas of Communication, Social Skills, Academics, Discrimination, Self-Help, Health and Safety, Recreation and Physical Education, Community, Transition to Adulthood, and Vocational.

ASSESSMENTS:

We provide easy-to-use assessments linked directly to our lessons, data entry, and reporting tools. The ACE assessments take the guess work out of educational planning so you can start teaching as soon as possible.

  • The Core Skills Assessment (CSA) is a direct assessment of 52 foundational skills necessary for higher-level learning and independent functioning. All CSA materials are provided with your ACE Software account.
  • The Skills Assessment is a curriculum guide to help you prioritize skills within the extensive ACE Curriculum Scope and Sequence. This assessment helps identify teaching targets for each student based on their abilities and tracks performance over time.
  • The Preference Assessment App provides 12 assessment options. The ACE Software includes a selection guide to help educators choose the right preference assessment for their learner. We also provide assessment instructions, data entry, and reporting.

CHALLENGING BEHAVIOR:

Reducing or replacing challenging behavior requires consistent and thorough data analysis. The ACE system provides tools for defining and organizing challenging behavior data collection., as well as means to record, graph, and review all of the behaviors you are tracking.

DATA ENTRY:

Our data entry feature helps improve your efficiency and teaching effectiveness. The ACE “Teach Now” feature allows you to collect data on educational and challenging behavior targets while working with students. It’s an easy way to track and organize student data and makes your data instantly accessible to all team members.

REPORTING:

Comprehensive dashboards allow you to monitor learner progress, examine progress toward learner objectives, and set goals for learners. These features allow teachers and clinicians to see if skills are being acquired and to quickly make changes to ensure students are making progress.

The ACE Software also provides several printable reports designed to help with clinical decision-making, program evaluation, and information-sharing with team members.
